Bollywood Actor Anil Kapoor Denies Involvement in ‘Curry in Love’

Is this simply a tale of wishful thinking by Kollywood-based director P Vasu or is there something more substantial to the rumors involving a film project entitled ‘Curry in Love‘?  The future project is supposed to star Hollywood stars Amanda Seyfried and Nick Nolte along with Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor according to director P Vasu and Producer/Screenwriter Raj Thiruselvam.

Anil Kapoor has denied any knowledge of such a film or role existing for him and his daughter Sonam Kapoor’s reps also denied involvement in this project.  No word yet on Amanda Seyfried’s involvement, but it should be noted that the Hollywood star was rumored to be asking $7.5 million (roughly 44.15 Crore) to star in the sequel for ‘Mamma Mia‘.  To put this in perspective, P Vasu’s last Kollywood Film’s (2011’s Kannada language ‘Arakshaka‘) budget was $680,000 (4 Crore) and made $840,000 (4.92 Crore).

Thiruselvam also insists that shooting is set to start in August, yet Amanda Seyfried’s IMDB shows her as currently filming Seth MacFarlane‘s comedic Western ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West‘ with Hollywood heavy-hitters Liam Neeson and Charlize Theron, among others.

The website for ‘Curry in Love‘ also shows all four stars mentioned as part of the “Dreamcast” for the movie.

Chalk this up to Kollywood daydreaming on P Vasu and associates’ part?
