India’s making it official! Finally, a museum dedicated to Indian cinema which will trace all the way back to its black and white days. According to reports, the museum took about seven years to wrap up and is the first of its kind.

The goal is to showcase Bollywood memorabilia, along with original artifacts from movie sets, among other film-making tools. The whole idea is to celebrate Bollywood and the various films made over the last century.

Excited about the grand opening, curator Amrit Gangar had this to say, “It’s about time India had its own film museum. We have archives, but not a museum and today a museum can become vibrant because of technology and interactivity.”

The Hollywood starlet takes it off for Bruno Mars latest single, Gorilla.

The Indian beauty plays a stripper in the video named Isabella who strips down to her undies.  She later makes out with the singer and sets a guitar on fire.  Could this be a tactic to break the “good girl” image attached to the actress?  If so, we think she did a pretty good job.

The 28-year-old is certainly switching it up and showing everyone she can be sexy.

NDTV reports, lawyers for both parties signed an agreement dismissing “all claims or counterclaims” without legal fees and filed the papers in Manhattan Supreme Court on June 14, 2013.

Peter Gallagher, the gaming company’s lawyer told the New York Post’s Page Six: “We’ve settled amicably. I can’t discuss the terms of the settlement, but it was resolved.”

The 31-year old singer reportedly dropped out of the deal last winter because she claimed that Gate Five had not secured the funding they had promised. Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani: All Set to Release in Israel

No Bollywood film has hit the theaters in Israel since the 2002 film Devdas, but that’s about to change with the Eros International film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ on Friday.

For those wondering, yes, the film will be subtitled in Hebrew for the audiences in Israel. Kumar Ahuja, the president of Eros International said “there was no solid distributor until now and getting prints of the movie is an expensive process”. So it wasn’t a piece of cake breaking into the international market.

Israeli distributors, Shai Motion Pictures has invested in a portable projector which gives them the mobility to showcase movies at different locations at a lesser cost, says Ahuja.

“There is a huge demand for these movies since Israelis and the local Indian population over there are fond of Indian content,” he said in a statement.

The foreign distributors are excited about the film which stars Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur in a romantic thriller.

Shai Solomon of Shai Motion Pictures said “We are looking forward to it. It is after a long gap, after Devdas, that any Indian movie will release here. This itself calls for celebration and we are anticipating good numbers.”

Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani also opens in India on May 31st.
