With his latest film ‘Chennai Express‘, co-starring Deepika Padukone, doing well at theaters and his beautiful family celebrating Eid as well, Shah Rukh Khan has a lot to celebrate these days.  So, like any doting superstar father, SRK decided to come out with his lovely wife and children to wave at his fans and pose for pictures outside his home ‘Mannat‘ in Bandra.  The only problem with this is that it seems SRK’s kids don’t like all the fuss and bother that comes along with having a superstar father!

Speaking of his impromptu post-prayers appearance with his family outside his home SRK said “I enjoy celebrating functions with fans… I can’t be alone. Now that my kids are grown up, I would like them also to say hello to all those who made me who I am today.” How did 15-year old son Aryan and 13-year old daughter Suhana feel about it? Well, SRK goes on to say “They were feeling embarrassed, shy and were even angry but I feel they should do this.”

This isn’t the first time SRK has gone on record about his kids, once Tweeting that “My teenage son is slowly turning into half man half mattress…” when referring to son Aryan.  But don’t worry, SRK is still a doting father as he sent Aryan to school in London to avoid the media glare of being a famous Bollywood star’s son in India.  He also once Tweeted “5 am high. I love to pick my son from the airport. My father picked me from the bus stand. He’s gone a long way or I have come a long way baby!” so you can tell SRK definitely loves his children.

And what does SRK’s home ‘Mannat’, which means “wish” or “desire” in Urdu, look like?  Well, here’s a video that gives us a glimpse inside SRK’s palatial home:

A little bit like Tony Montana‘s home in ‘Scarface‘, eh?  But overall, not bad!  Hey, we’re thinking if Daddy Khan wants you to go outside and wave at all the little people who go to the movies that keep the lights on in your house (and there seem to be a lot of lights!!!!), then maybe the kiddies can do their best pageant wave and call it a day.

Or maybe we should just be glad that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri aren’t pulling a Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith by pushing their kids down our throats ala Willow Smith and Jaden Smith…. Punjabi ‘Whip My Hair‘ anyone?

In another plot straight out of a movie, Bollywood Megastar Salman Khan is facing charges for culpable homicide stemming from a 2002 hit-and-run incident.

The charges could lead to jail time of up to ten years.   The 47-year old was involved in an incident in which he allegedly ran over multiple homeless people sleeping on a sidewalk in front of a bakery over ten years ago in his luxury SUV.

Arguably Bollywood’s most bankable star for the past decade, Khan had earlier been acquitted of lesser charges that could have landed him in jail for two years.  The incident itself consisted of  Salman slamming his Toyota Landcruiser into a cluster of shops in the Bandra neighborhood inside Mumbai, killing one Kalim Mohammed Akhbar Pathan who had been sleeping outside a shop and injuring four others on September 28th, 2002.  He was allegedly ‘under the influence of alcohol’ at the time of the incident.

This news comes fresh on the heels of his co-star Sana Khan‘s release on bail for kidnapping charges and absconding prior to her Bollywood debut and Salman’s next film ‘Mental‘.

It seems that a black cloud is hovering above Salman lately, we’ll keep you posted as more develops.
