Esha Gupta is set to play the Indian version of Lara Croft. Some say it’s her resemblance to Angelina Jolie that got her the part.

That’s right, Esha has been signed for an International co-production to play the Indian Lara Croft. We hear the actress is referred to as the Indian Angelina Jolie of Bollywood.
Hmm interesting… I wonder if she will do some hardcore training for the role like Angelina did for the Hollywood Lara Croft. If so, will she do her own stunts as well? It will be refreshing to see a strong, kick ass, female character in a Bollywood film, wouldn’t it?
