Barfi:  This was a sensitive love story with excellent performance by the leading actors that made the film worth watching. It was definitely an emotional ride for me.  Anurag Basu directed the film. Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead role – the character of an autistic girl. Barfi is nominated for an Oscar under the foreign movie category.  It made collections of Rs. 100 crore at the box office.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan:  This being the last movie directed by the late Yash Chopra.  Shah Rukh Khan’s intense emotions, Katrina and Anushka Sharma’s delicate performance helped the film collected Rs. 120 crores at the box office.  The film beautifully captured Kashmir Valley and was also shot partly in London.

Bol BachanBol Bachan is a remake of 1979 film Gol Maal.  Rohit Shetty is the director of the film.  Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan played the lead roles.  The film collected more than Rs. 100 crore at the box office.

Son of Sardaar: This comedy collected Rs 105 crore at the box office and stood among the top movies of Bollywood.  Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha played the lead characters. The stunts of Ajay Devgan riding on two horses made the film a favorite with the masses.

We love bollywood, but maybe they need to come up with something original instead of trying to re-create something that has already been seen and done. No?
