Hrithik before surgery getting into shape for ‘Krrish 3’

Bollywood action-star Hrithik Roshan is out of the hospital and heading back onto the set of his latest film project ‘Bang Bang‘ around mid-November, according to sources.  If you’ll recall, Hrithik had emergency minor surgery on July 7th at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital to remove a blood clot in his brain that was discovered on the set of ‘Bang Bang‘.

He said “I am doubly charged and looking forward to resuming my amazing journey with the team of ‘Bang Bang‘ from mid November. We promise to give our best to making the film one of the finest ever…” when asked about his plans for restarting the film shoot.  ‘Bang Bang‘ co-stars Katrina Kaif and is supposed to be an action-adventure film.  The shoot for ‘Bang Bang‘ also had to be pushed back because Hrithik will once again play the role of Krrish in the third installment of the superhero franchise ‘Krrish 3‘ and will be doing publicity in support of the film in early November.

Krrish 3‘ is slated for release on November 4, 2013 and ‘Bang Bang‘s release will be pushed back to October 2, 2014 due to these filming delays.  We here at the World SannaKhan team wish Hrithik a speedy recovery.

Sources have put Katrina Kaif on the top of a list that includes Ankita Lokhande, Jennifer Winget, and Simran Kaur Mundi to star in Shah Rukh Khan‘s next film ‘Happy New Year‘.  The actress has had some extra time on her hands with co-star Hrithik Roshan‘s brain surgery pushing their film ‘Krrish 3‘ back to later in the year.  She has been spotted with her alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor vacationing in Sri Lanka while he’s preparing for his next film ‘Bombay Velvet‘.  Kapoor’s co-star on that film will be Anushka Sharma.  Word has it that Katrina will sign on as soon as she returns to Mumbai from vacation.

Going back to ‘Happy New Year‘, it seems the film will commence a 40-day shoot on September 5 with ‘Om Shanti Om‘ director Farah Khan on board.  The film features SRK as an over the top kind of lover, something the always passionate Khan first played in 1995’s ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge‘.   ‘Happy New Year‘s plot revolves around a group of male friends who have to enter a dance competition for some reason.  Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani round out the cast as SRK’s friends.

This has been an eventful year for SRK following controversy around the birth of his son AbRam and the alleged use of a surrogate mother, a shoulder injury on set that required surgery, and the difficulties he’s encountered in finding a leading lady for ‘Happy New Year‘ but it all seems to finally coming together for the megastar.  He’s even invited his fans in Dubai for an iftar at Arabian Center for the release of his movie ‘Chennai Express‘ on August 1.  Co-star Deepika Padukone and director Rohit Shetty will also be on hand for the fan event, but no word on if they’ll be fasting as well.

Bollywood megastar Hrithik Roshan is recovering from brain surgery to remedy a chronic subdural haematoma on July 7th.  The procedure was a success according to his father, acting legend Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik even posted the following thumbs up on his twitter account with the words “controlling my environment,” which immediately got 25,000 likes from followers.

Fox Star Studios has delayed completion of Hrithik’s next movie ‘Bang Bang‘, a Bollywood remake of the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz film ‘Knight and Day‘, due to the star’s health concerns. The 39-year old Roshan is best known for Bollywood hits like ‘Krish‘, ‘Jodhaa Akbar‘, and ‘Agneepath‘.  The unexpected health scare has also delayed Roshan’s work on ‘Krish 3‘, on which he is acting as a producer and assistant director as well as the star of the film.

Following the surgery doctors advised Roshan that he should have four weeks of bed rest, but who knows if the athletic Bollywood star will follow advice with so much on his table.  ‘Krish 3’ is scheduled for release this November 3rd and ‘Bang Bang’ is scheduled for release on May 1st, 2014 following shooting in Thailand and Greece.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Hrithik for a speedy recovery.
