Cameron Diaz to Make her Musical Debut in ‘Annie’ Remake

Reportedly Cameron Diaz is set to make her musical debut playing Miss Hannigan in the remake of Annie.

The 40-year old actress who signed on after Sandra Bullock reportedly turned down the role twice, will be starring opposite 9-year old Quvenzhane Wallis, as the tyrant orphanage headmistress.

Oooh….this will be fun to watch. Not sure if Cameron has any vocal talent, but she can be funny.

The film is directed by Will Gluck and is expected to release in late 2014.

Seal Explodes in Twitter Tirade Against Australian Media!

In an interesting bit of news crooner Seal exploded in a Twitter rampage against Australian media after his good friend and fellow ‘The Voice Australia‘ judge/Good Charlotte guitarist and backup vocalist Benji Madden was kicked out of the Australian casino hotel he was staying in after authorities discovered a small amount of marijuana in his room.

Benji Madden

Seal tweeted “Way to respect a guest in your country trash media, way to make us feel welcome” through his Twitter account on June 13th and followed that up with “Keep it up…. sure we’ll be back next year. And yes, I say we, because it’s just a matter of time before you gun us all down.  I for one will not stand by and watch you attempt to destroy my Brother, you gun one you gun us all!.”

After that Seal wasn’t quite done with his tirade and continued by slamming the Star Casino in which Madden was staying by tweeting “Shame on the Star…you ask him to meet n greet a cancer victim in your hotel room then send police to his room? Nice….very classy…keep it up Judas. I’m done here.”  He later backtracked furiously with a tweet blaming his earlier rant on being away from his children for 11 weeks and voiced his love for Australia and ‘The Voice Australia‘ along with it’s Aussie talent.

This story has everything, cancer patients, drugs, angry Seals.  Maybe the cannibas belonged to the cancer patient visiting Madden who was using it as medical marijuana and just happened to leave it behind?  Perhaps Seal should follow the advice of one of his earlier hits, “Don’t Cry.”……

RDB is unique in the American context because the content generated is fresh, latest and Happening ! generated right here. We do not believe in bringing old and obsolete content in the ever changing and fast paced world of today where entertainment can be carried anywhere. Radio DesiBeat aims at bringing you the “Best of the Latest” in Desi Entertainment, for the entire family.

The Asian heartbeat that’s being heard across America!

Radio DesiBeat is America’s First 24X7 Bollywood Radio Station !

Radio DesiBeat started as just an idea to have a constant connect with people back home, for everyone who has been away from the motherland. Living in US, we knew there is a vacuum here, there may be media outlets but there’s a lack of a cohesive single source that can be counted on to keep one connected with the Desi community and its events alongwith helping us keep abreast with what’s happening back home. We want to bridge this need gap. And what better way to go about it than by throwing in some Bollywood magic. The result is one of the most easily accessible radio and entertainment network only for the diasporas from the South Asian countries and ethnic communities.
